Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using thelinknext.com (the "Platform"), operated by TheLinkNext ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Platform you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use TheLinkNext. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. Organisations (companies and universities) must be duly registered legal entities with authority to enter into binding agreements.

2. Account Registration and Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access or suspected breach at support@thelinknext.com.
• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show signs of unauthorised use or policy violations.

3. User Roles and Permitted Use

Students

• Create and maintain an accurate, professional profile.
• Apply for entry-level job opportunities posted by verified companies.
• Upload a genuine resume and list only skills you actually possess.
• Not create multiple accounts or misrepresent your qualifications.

Companies

• Post genuine entry-level job opportunities only.
• Not collect personal data from student profiles beyond what is necessary for hiring decisions.
• Comply with applicable employment and anti-discrimination laws in your jurisdiction.
• Not use student data for marketing, resale, or any purpose unrelated to hiring.

Universities

• Enroll only bona fide graduating students from your institution.
• Maintain accurate cohort and program information.
• Obtain any consent required by local law before enrolling students on their behalf.
• Not share platform access with unauthorised third parties.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content (profiles, job listings, or reviews).
• Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against any user on the Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or network associated with TheLinkNext.
• Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code into the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
• Impersonate another person, company, or institution.
• Send unsolicited commercial communications ("spam") to other users.

5. Content Ownership and Licence

You retain ownership of content you submit to TheLinkNext (e.g., your profile, resume, job postings). By submitting content, you grant TheLinkNext a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

TheLinkNext and its licensors own all intellectual property rights in the Platform itself — including its design, software, logos, and trademarks. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

6. Job Applications and Hiring

TheLinkNext is a connection platform only. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or specific outcomes for any student, company, or university. We are not party to any employment relationship or contract entered into between students and companies through the Platform. Any hiring decisions, salary negotiations, or employment terms are solely between the relevant student and company.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms or that your account poses a risk to other users or the Platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@thelinknext.com. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to the termination date.

8. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TheLinkNext shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of PKR 10,000 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the civil courts located in Lahore, Pakistan, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
